Hey! I'm Gillian. But you can call me Gill.

 

I'm a Visual Designer located in Madison Wisconsin. I graduated in May 2017 from University of Wisconsin-Madison. I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, with an emphasis in Graphic Design and Painting, and a minor in Digital Studies. I currently work as a full-time designer for an incredible start-up in Madison Wisconsin. As of January 2021, I am not accepting any new freelance work.

  •  Developed a brand and sub-brand from the ground-up as the sole in-house designer on a 4-person marketing team

 

  • Design website, digital reports, guides, digital fliers, social media images, Google Slide presentations, swag, a 360-page book, and other deliverables 

 

  • Constructed an original visual iconography set with customized avatars

  • Revamped website design with a complete website overhaul

  • Collaborating in a 5-person marketing team to make design disability-accessible for over 750 employees and +13,000 members in 55 separate counties across Wisconsin.

 

  • Responsible for redesigning and redirecting the company's brand. First graphic designer to work at organization since its inception in 1976. As part of this strategy, I integrated existing design elements into the redesign to make the brand transition a simplified process. 

 

  • Create new branding materials and deliverables in a variety of forms including brochures, business cards, Wordpress website, letterheads, envelopes, folders, fliers, print templates, PowerPoint presentations, Sharepoint intranet website, t-shirt’s, billboards, social media, car wraps, and more. 

 

  • Planned and designed over the course of 6 months for the All-Staff Employee Conference surrounding the theme “What’s Next?”, in which +750 people attended. 

  • Collaborated with and advised customers to complete the design, production, and release of printed marketing materials for businesses and organizations 
     

  • Assembled and prepared final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing. 
     

  • Exceeded expectations, by completing an average of 41 jobs per day, performing at 205% of required rate, with 99% accuracy.
